Conceived in 2025 and unveiled at Pitti Uomo in January 2026, Rockoco Studios creates unisex sunglasses inspired by the golden age of cinema and the aesthetic of New Hollywood.
Through this debut collection, founder Yasmine Rhezouani presents a tribute to the quiet, instinctive elegance of sprezzatura—an effortless expression of Italian style, brought to life through timeless design and exceptional Italian craftsmanship.
It all began with a memory—that of her father.
At the heart of Rockoco Studios lies a deeply personal tribute to a man who embodied a rare, instinctive sense of style. Elegance, for him, was never something constructed or performed; it was simply a way of being. A childhood memory became the foundation of the house.
He belonged to a generation shaped by cinema, an era when figures such as Marcello Mastroianni and Alain Delon embodied a quiet yet magnetic presence.
Style was never about visibility—it was about identity. It wasn't worn for others; it was an extension of oneself.
TANGIERS Sunglasses - Debut Collection campaign
For this debut drop, limited to 300 pieces per model, the house introduces two unisex frames, each available in three distinctive lens and color combinations. Their cinematic inspiration comes from Casino (1995), Martin Scorsese's iconic film.
For Rockoco Studios, such films are more than references—they are cultural touchstones. They shape the way silhouettes are conceived, proportions are balanced, and attitude is expressed, infusing each frame with a timeless cinematic identity.
The frames are handcrafted in Italy at an independent workshop founded in 1955 in Potenza, Basilicata. They are crafted from premium acetate sourced from Mazzucchelli 1849 and LA/ES, two of Italy's most renowned acetate manufacturers.
The lenses are sourced from leading European specialists recognized for their outstanding optical clarity, technical performance, and uncompromising quality.
